Football Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Union + How To Watch

Union hadn't done well against Crane recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bobcats took down the Mustangs 42-24. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon football rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Mustangs are ranked 42nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win (which was Union's third in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.0 points on average over those games. As for Crane, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Union will face off against rival Pine Eagle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Crane is set to square off against their familiar foe Adrian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
