Basketball Recap: Sussex Academy Drops Highest Score of Season Against Delmar

Sussex Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-50 heartbreaker at the hands of the Delmar Wildcats. One positive for the Seahawks, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Sussex Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Delmar, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-10 record this season.

Sussex Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 71-38 loss against Seaford on the 6th. As for Delmar, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-39 defeat against Laurel on the 6th.
