It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mountain Brook had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Minor Tigers 71-51. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

The win was the ninth in a row for Mountain Brook, bringing their record for this year to 23-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.2 points over those games. As for Minor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-13.
