As for Mount Airy, it crushed East Surry last week, winning 49 - 6. No one had a larger role in the success than senior quarterback Jackson Smith, who brought his A game into the contest. He threw for 287 yards. Smith has been a consistent playmaker for Mount Airy as this was the 7th good game in a row from him.
