Soccer Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for Washington after they claimed the first goal on Thursday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Lincoln Mustangs by a score of 2-1.

Washington now has a losing record at 5-6-2. As for Lincoln, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-4.

Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln, they will square off against Marshall at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln is facing Marshall at the right time seeing as Marshall is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
