Volleyball Preview: Wasatch Meets Crimson Cliffs

The Wasatch Wasps will face off against the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Wasatch heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Orem. This is the first time the Wasps have not won a set since all the way back on September 22nd.

Meanwhile, Crimson Cliffs faced Desert Hills in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Mustangs fell 3-1 to the Thunder.

Wasatch will need to focus on slowing down Jesi Maxfield, one of several Crimson Cliffs players who made an impact when they last played. She had 21 digs, 12 kills, and three aces. The team also got some help from Sadie Halvorsen, who had 23 digs and four assists.
