Volleyball Game Preview: Solon Comets vs. North Royalton Bears

Solon is 0-7 against North Royalton since September of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Comets will be playing at home against the Bears at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Monday, Solon came up short against Twinsburg and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15, 20-25, 25-10.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times North Royalton and Nordonia have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Bears came up short against the Knights, falling 3-0. The Bears have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

North Royalton was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-19, 25-19.

Solon's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for North Royalton, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
