Denison-Schleswig barely beat CAM the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Monarchs' defense stepped up to hand the Cougars a 5-0 shutout on Friday. Denison-Schleswig might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by three goals or more this season.

The win was the third in a row for Denison-Schleswig, bringing their record up to 16-6-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matchups. As for CAM, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12-2 record this season.
