Soccer Recap: Lake Wales Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Lake Wales and Satellite squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Lake Wales had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Satellite Scorpions. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Highlanders couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Brenden McMaster, who's now up to four this season.

Lake Wales' loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-9-1. As for Satellite, their win bumped their record up to 10-5-2.

Lake Wales does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Satellite, they will take on Mount Dora at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mount Dora is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.9 goals per game this season.
