Volleyball Recap: Omaha North Takes a Loss

Omaha North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Bryan Bears. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bears earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Omaha North was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 20 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20.

Nya Kuich Chuol paced Omaha North's offense, picking up five kills. Chuol got some help from Aubrey Young and her 11 assists.

Omaha North's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Bryan, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-12.

Coincidentally, Omaha North and Bryan will both be playing Omaha South the next time they take the court. The Vikings will head out to face the Packers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bears will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
