Basketball Recap: Banquete Comes Up Short

Banquete was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 67-31 loss at the hands of the Orange Grove Bulldogs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Banquete this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-58 on January 3rd.

Banquete's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Orange Grove, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Banquete has already played their next contest (against Bishop), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Orange Grove will face off against Santa Gertrudis Academy at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th.
