Volleyball Recap: Johnson County Takes a Loss

Johnson County extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping them down to 2-3. They lost 3-0 to the Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones. If the Longhorns were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Fighting Cyclones when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Elizabethton, they now have a winning record of 3-2. That three set margin sets a new team best for them this season.

Morgan Lewis was the offensive standout of the match as she had nine digs and one assist.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Johnson County will take on Patrick Henry at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Elizabethton, they will challenge Science Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
