Football Game Preview: Faustina Academy Falcons vs. Forestburg Longhorns + How To Watch

The Faustina Academy Falcons are taking a road trip to challenge the Forestburg Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Faustina Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Forestburg likes a good challenge.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Faustina Academy took on Temple Christian last Friday. The Falcons breezed past the Eagles to the tune of 59-14. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Falcons' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Eagles are ranked 1069th).

Faustina Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Marcos Mollo and Kevin Wood.

Meanwhile, Forestburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 76-6 loss at the hands of Northside.

Faustina Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Forestburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything came up roses for Faustina Academy against Forestburg in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 54-8 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
