Basketball Recap: Midstate Homeschool Comes Up Short on the Road Against Faith Training Christian Academy

Midstate Homeschool had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were outmatched by Faith Training Christian Academy and fell 66-27. The Storm were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Faith Training Christian Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Isaac Lawrence and Joshua Lonsberry certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Lawrence posted six points and eight boards, while Lonsberry scored four points and 11 rebounds.

Midstate Homeschool didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-40 loss against John Paul the Great Academy on the 28th. As for Faith Training Christian Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. on November 4.
