Basketball Recap: Dynamic Prep Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Dynamic Prep waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Roman Catholic Cahillite by a score of 75-63. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the -'s considerable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked first in Texas, while the Cahillite are ranked 28th in Pennsylvania).

Dynamic Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Austin Goosby, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards. Goosby has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 60% every time he's hit the court this season. Another player making a difference was Dakar Spear, who went 8-for-11 en route to 19 points.

Dynamic Prep's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Roman Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Dynamic Prep and Montverde Academy will face off at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday without much rest, having both just played. Roman Catholic and Bishop McNamara will round out the year against one another at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
