Basketball Recap: Pipestone Comes Up Short

After flying high against Worthington last Tuesday, Pipestone came back down to earth. The Pipestone Arrows took an 80-72 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Windom Eagles on Friday. The Arrows were probably out for revenge after losing 81-61 to them when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pipestone has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-3 record this season. As for Windom, their record now sits at 7-1.

Pipestone and Sioux Falls Christian will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Pipestone knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Sioux Falls Christian likes a good challenge. Windom will take on Worthington in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
