It was fun while it lasted, but North Rock Creek's undefeated season came to an end after seven games on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Crooked Oak Ruf-Nex by a score of 52-50. The loss put an end to the Cougars' undefeated start to the season.

Crooked Oak's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Elijah Garcia, who went 5 of 11 en route to 15 points. Garcia has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jamel Morris, who went 8 of 20 en route to 17 points and five rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, North Rock Creek fell to 7-1. As for Crooked Oak, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

North Rock Creek and Crooked Oak should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. North Rock Creek (ranked eighth) will meet Harrah (ranked 396th) at 7:30 p.m. on January 21st. Meanwhile, Crooked Oak (ranked tenth) will meet Haskell (ranked 444th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
