It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Academy for Classical Education had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Jasper County Hurricanes as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Gryphons as they're now sitting on four straight.

Academy for Classical Education can attribute much of their success to Kate Thomason, who had 11 digs and two aces.

Thomason wasn't the only good servers: Academy for Classical Education was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in five consecutive matchups.

Academy for Classical Education's win bumped their record up to 25-11. As for Jasper County, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.

Looking ahead, Academy for Classical Education will challenge Haralson County on Saturday. The Gryphons are facing the Rebels at the right time seeing as the Rebels are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Jasper County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
