Soccer Game Preview: Richland vs. Forest Hills

The Richland Rams will venture away from home to square off against the Forest Hills Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Richland will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Richland had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the five-goal drubbing they dealt Chestnut Ridge on Tuesday. The Rams' defense stepped up to hand the Lions a 5-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Richland, who have now won seven matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Chestnut Ridge with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Layna Beglin (2), Sheraghna Hall, Becca Fetchko, and Dylan Brock.

Meanwhile, Forest Hills made easy work of Somerset on Tuesday and carried off a 5-2 win. Forest Hills are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the fifth contest they've won by 3+ goals this season.

Richland's record now sits at 14-2-1. As for Forest Hills, their record is now 7-2.
