B O L D extended their winning streak to four on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 8-3 in the process. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Sauk Centre Mainstreeters. Surprisingly, this marked the Warriors' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

As for Sauk Centre, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-7. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly three runs.

For Sauk Centre's part, Jenna Riley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned (and one unearned) runs on 11 hits and racked up 11 Ks. Riley has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Peyton Borgmann made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Those RBI marked the first that she has brought in this season. Gabi Marthaler was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Coincidentally, B O L D and Sauk Centre will both be playing Minnewaska Area the next time they take the field. The Warriors will head out to face the Lakers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Mainstreeters will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
