Caro has gone 7-1 against Laker recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Tigers will head out to square off against the Lakers at 4:00 p.m. The last five games Caro has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Monday, Caro didn't have quite enough to beat Almont and fell 5-4.

Wyatt Waterman was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.

Meanwhile, Laker didn't have quite enough to beat Cass City on Thursday and fell 4-3.

Caro has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-13-1 record this season. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Laker, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-6-1.

Caro skirted past Laker 6-5 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
