While Ari Dixon delivered a dominant performance on Thursday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Archbishop Murphy. Dixon wasn't messing around, pitching six innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off six hits. The pitching appearance was her fifth straight with five or more strikeouts.

Dixon and Archbishop Murphy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lynnwood at 4:00 p.m. on the 28th.
