Marshall had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the New Ulm Eagles by a score of 75-64. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Coming up, Marshall will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against St. Cloud Tech/St. John's Prep at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for New Ulm, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Willmar at 2:30 p.m. on January 10, 2026.
