Lincoln came out on top against High Tech SD on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive 12-run fifth inning. The Hornets blew past the Storm 20-3. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won ten contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Lincoln is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for High Tech SD, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.

Looking ahead, Lincoln will face off against El Cajon Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Hornets are facing the Braves at the right time seeing as the Braves are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
