Soccer Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Davidson's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

Davidson had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the four-goal drubbing they dealt Faith Academy on Thursday. The Warriors' defense stepped up to hand the Rams a 4-0 shutout. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Davidson considering their one-goal performance the game before.

Davidson is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those nine matches. As for Faith Academy, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5-1.
