Softball Recap: Grand Oaks Comes Up Short

Grand Oaks lost against Oak Ridge back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Grizzlies fell just short of the War Eagles by a score of 9-8. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grand Oaks' defeat dropped their record down to 20-9. As for Oak Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Grand Oaks and Oak Ridge will both be playing Willis the next time they take the field. The War Eagles will host the Wildkats at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, while the Grizzlies will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
