After flying high against Fosston on Tuesday, Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] came back down to earth. The Knights fell just short of the Badger/Greenbush-Middle River Gators by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Gators recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Badger/Greenbush-Middle River, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Red Lake County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Badger/Greenbush-Middle River, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Goodridge/Grygla on the 8th.
