Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brookline). They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Needham Rockets on Thursday. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rockets, too.

Connor Fitzgerald was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

The win made it two in a row for Brookline and bumps their season record up to 4-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Needham, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brookline will challenge Newton North at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Needham, they will take on Newton South at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
