Soccer Recap: Columbus Takes a Loss

Columbus managed to keep up with Lake Mills until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Cardinals lost 7-0 to the L-Cats. That's two games in a row now that Columbus have lost by exactly seven goals.

Columbus has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Lake Mills, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbus will challenge Dodgeville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake Mills, they will square off against Wayland Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
