Cocke County lost to South Greene back in November, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Cocke County Fighting Cocks snuck past the South Greene Rebels with a 60-54 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Fighting Cocks who have now won three matches in a row.

When it comes to explaining why South Greene lost, don't look at Chandler Gamble. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine boards. Elgin Gentry was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

Cocke County's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for South Greene, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.

Cocke County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 70-50 win against Cherokee on the 21st.
