Basketball Game Preview: Lowell Devils vs. Harrisburg Eagles

The Lowell Devils and the Harrisburg Eagles will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Lowell has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Harrisburg will arrive with four straight victories.

Last Saturday, Lowell had to suffer through a 58-26 loss at the hands of Bandon. The game marked the Devils' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Harrisburg got the win against Monroe on Saturday by a conclusive 56-30. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 26 points or more this season.

Harrisburg's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Lowell, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Lowell came up short against Harrisburg when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 41-34. Can Lowell avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
