Football Recap: Fort Bend Chargers Homeschool Starts off Right with Win over Faith West Academy

Fort Bend Chargers HomeSchool had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Faith West Academy Eagles 54-8 on the road on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Chargers as they're now sitting on eight straight dating back to last season.

Elijah Sprinkle threw for 140 yards and two touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 49 yards. Morgan Chachere was his top target, picking up 111 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Bend Chargers HomeSchool will take on Logos Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Faith West Academy, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on The Covenant Preparatory School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Faith West Academy will come in still looking for their first win of the season.
