Volleyball Game Preview: Greenville HomeSchool Athletics Archers vs. Dallas Christian Chargers

The Greenville HomeSchool Athletics Archers will head out to take on the Dallas Christian Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, Greenville HomeSchool Athletics didn't have quite enough to beat Sulphur Bluff and fell 3-2.

Greenville HomeSchool Athletics actually scored more points across those five sets (110-103), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 21-25, 27-25, 15-25, 15-13.

Greenville HomeSchool Athletics' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Claire Samples, who had 12 digs and four aces, and Mary Carter, who had 24 digs and two aces. Samples is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 17 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Meanwhile, Dallas Christian made easy work of Bishop Gorman on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chargers.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-16, 25-15.

Dallas Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-3-1. As for Greenville HomeSchool Athletics, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.
