            Softball Preview: Sissonville Indians vs. Ravenswood Red Devils        
        
		
        
        
            The Sissonville Indians will challenge the Ravenswood Red Devils at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Sissonville has given up an average of 7.8  runs per game this season, but Tuesday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Sissonville took a loss when they played away from home  on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past Wayne  12-11.
 The team  relied heavily on  Lydia Ellis, who  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ana Soblit, who  went 2-for-3 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and one  double.
 Meanwhile, Ravenswood was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss. They were a single  run away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of St. Marys.
 Sissonville has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-12 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Ravenswood, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.
