Baseball Recap: Winston County Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Winston County's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Lynn Bears on Saturday. The Yellowjackets' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Winston County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chris Clemons, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Winston County's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Lynn, their record is now 18-7.

When Winston County and Lynn next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Yellowjackets will try to stop Cold Springs' three-game winning streak when they meet at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lynn will square off against Hackleburg and their five-game winning streak at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
