Volleyball Recap: Mountain Crest's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Mountain Crest extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 14-10. They beat the Sky View Bobcats by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 3-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Leighton Pratt paced Mountain Crest's offense, picking up 15 kills. Pratt got some help from Makell Crofts and her 41 assists. Finally, Finlee Greenhalgh kept Mountain Crest's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

As for Sky View, they dropped their record down to 12-11 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Sky View's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kinsley Stevens, who had 15 assists and three digs, and Abby Thatcher, who had five digs and two aces. Stevens is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season.
