Baseball Game Preview: Souderton Indians vs. Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials

The Souderton Indians will challenge the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Plymouth Whitemarsh took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Souderton, who comes in off a win.

Souderton came out on top against Quakertown on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run sixth inning. The Indians had just enough and edged out the Panthers 7-6. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Ethan Lesh looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single hit in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Dylan Harper, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Klock, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Plymouth Whitemarsh fell victim to Wissahickon and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that the Colonials have lost by just one run.

Max Eagland spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits.

Plymouth Whitemarsh now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Souderton, they now have a winning record of 9-8-1.
