Overton came into Tuesday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the McGavock Raiders by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Bobcats: when they faced off against the Raiders back in August, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 22-25, 25-16.

Overton's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for McGavock, they moved to 8-14 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Overton is set to take on their familiar foe Glencliff at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, McGavock will square off against rival Hillsboro at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
