Volleyball Recap: Greenwood Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Monday. Greenwood came up short against Fayetteville, falling 3-0. Greenwood hasn't had much luck with Fayetteville recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21, 25-13.

Anna Grace Dedmon paced Greenwood's offense, picking up six kills. Dedmon got some help from Addi Webb and her 12 assists.

Fayetteville was led to victory by Eva Mcpike and Lillian Vu. Mcpike had ten digs and two aces, while Vu had seven digs. That's the most digs Mcpike has posted since back in August of 2024.

Greenwood's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenwood will head out to square off against Har-Ber at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fayetteville, they will venture away from home to challenge Nixa at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
