Volleyball Recap: Community School of Davidson Takes a Loss

After flying high against West Mecklenburg on Tuesday, Community School of Davidson came back down to earth. The Spartans fell 3-1 to the Mooresville Blue Devils on Wednesday. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Blue Devils earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-23, 25-16, 19-25, 25-19.

Community School of Davidson's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Mooresville, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Community School of Davidson will take on Langtree Charter Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. Mooresville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
