Brewster Academy National is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Link Academy. The Brewster Academy National Bobcats had just enough and edged the Link Academy Lions out 49-47. The victory was familiar territory for the Bobcats who have now won six games in a row.

Despite the loss, Link Academy still got an impressive performance from Davion Hannah, who posted ten points in addition to seven rebounds and four blocks. Those four blocks gave Hannah a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Cenac, who had eight points and eight boards.

Brewster Academy National has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season. As for Link Academy, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-5.

Brewster Academy National didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-53 win against Chaminade on the 25th. Link Academy has also already played their next game, a 65-52 victory against Shawnee Mission East on the 25th.
