Volleyball Game Preview: De La Salle Meteors vs. Juarez Eagles

The De La Salle Meteors will head out on the road to challenge the Juarez Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. De La Salle is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, De La Salle came up short against Providence Catholic and fell 2-0.

While De La Salle was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Juarez was able to grind out a solid victory over ACERO Garcia on Tuesday, taking the game 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

While Juarez won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-18.

De La Salle's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Juarez, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8.

De La Salle couldn't quite get it done against Juarez when the teams last played back in March of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Meteors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
