Basketball Recap: Central Skates Past North County with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the North County Raiders 68-38. Winning may never get old, but the Rebels sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for North County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Central and Nerinx Hall will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 6:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for North County, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ste. Genevieve at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
