Ravenscroft took down North Raleigh Christian Academy 65-12 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Wake Christian Academy and Fayetteville Christian played the most contested game in NCISAA Big East this week, with Wake Christian Academy eventually emerging with a 34-28 victory.
The Knights' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Richard Landis threw for 188 and 2 touchdowns and Daniel Rose had 83 yards receiving. On the ground Tripp Norris chipped in 32 yards. Christian Vinson helped North Raleigh Christian Academy's passing attack out by catching 6 balls for 72 yards.
He went 18-37 with 0 interceptions.
Norris was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 32 yards on 6 carries as North Raleigh Christian Academy lost to the Ravens. Teammate Parker Mayo added to the ground attack by rushing for 32 yards.
Rich Landis' team's Landis and Rose led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Landis has thrown for 1,558 yards this season, while Rose has 66 catches for 804 yards. Harrells Christian Academy's Kelly Nelms leads the league in rushing yards with 898.
The Knights are currently in fourth, while the Bulldogs are in third.
Wake Christian Academy made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 13,316 from 13,425. The improvement was the result of a 34-28 victory over Fayetteville Christian last week.
