Franklin put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Belleville Tigers with a sharp 18-8 victory. While the Patriots didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Kinlee Goldman was a standout: she got on base in three of her four plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Savana Mullin was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.

Franklin kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Belleville, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Franklin is taking a road trip to square off against West Bloomfield at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Belleville, they will be playing at home against Anderson at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
