Baseball Game Preview: Binghamton Patriots vs. Ithaca Little Red

Binghamton hasn't had much luck against Ithaca recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Patriots will host the Little Red at 5:00 p.m. Binghamton will be strutting in after a victory while Ithaca will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Binghamton turned things around against Maine-Endwell on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past the Spartans 6-5.

Brady McManus was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Ithaca fell victim to Horseheads and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Raiders. The loss continues a trend for the Little Red in their meetings with the Blue Raiders: they've now lost eight in a row.

Ithaca's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Binghamton, their win bumped their record up to 3-12.
