Basketball Game Preview: Tatum Coyotes vs. Corona/Vaughn Cardinals

The Tatum Coyotes will take on the Corona/Vaughn Cardinals in a tournament on Thursday. Neither of these teams found much success offensively their last time out, scoring well below their season average.

On Tuesday, Tatum lost to New Mexico Military Institute at home by a 47-30 margin. The matchup marked the Coyotes' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Corona/Vaughn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Mesilla Valley Christian School 65-21. The Cardinals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-11.

Corona/Vaughn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Tatum, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
