Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McBee). They blew past the Midlands STEM Charter Mavericks 74-39 on Tuesday. With that win, the Panthers brought their scoring average up to 52.4 points per game.

It was another big night for Jailyn Melton, who went 7-for-16 on his way to 19 points and five steals. Another player making a difference was Hayden Griggs, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds.

McBee's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Midlands STEM Charter, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

McBee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-39 loss against C.A. Johnson on the 18th. As for Midlands STEM Charter, they have also already played their next contest, an 86-27 defeat against Lewisville on the 18th.
