Sauk Rapids-Rice faced Anoka in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Storm walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Tornadoes. The Storm's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Sauk Rapids-Rice's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Anoka, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.
