Softball Recap: Harrells Christian Academy Crusaders vs. Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Halifax Academy, Harrells Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They never let the Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Breelyn Peed made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Regan Cannon was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March.
